The Centro de Investigaciones Sociales includes a library and newspaper archives, specialized in the social sciences, with more than 10,000 books and 400 collections of magazines, in addition to numerous series published by research centers and national and international organizations.

Their participation in networks with other academic institutions, such as MINCyT, the “Virtual Library Network” of CLACSO, and established inter-library agreements widen possibilities for research and access to publications in the social sciences. The Library is open to the general public, and offers special services for the members and postgraduate students of IDES, specifically digital access to the complete texts of articles available in more than 30 online databases through EBSCO Host.
